About Ultra Build
Twenty years of building on the Kāpiti Coast, Wellington and the Hutt Valley
A tight-knit building team led by Jamie Woodgate, with the systems, accreditations and subcontractor relationships to deliver commercial and residential projects properly.
Why choose Ultra Build
We offer full project management, with a team behind the team
Ultra Build was built on repeat work. Commercial clients like Red Wolf Security have used us for over five years; homeowners in Paraparaumu and Waikanae send their neighbours our way. That only happens when the workmanship and the communication hold up.
We offer full project management and have dedicated resources behind our team working away to support a successful project — designers, engineers, quantity surveyors and a reliable subcontractor base we've built over two decades.
Jamie is on site, on the phone and accountable. You won't be passed to a junior project manager halfway through.
- Full project management on every job
- CBA contracts and warranties
- Trade-qualified carpenters and LBP builders
- A long-standing network of trusted subcontractors
Our brand promise
“We will take care of your building project as if it is our own.”
Through communication, Ultra Build develops and sustains positive relationships to deliver quality work and services. Our commitment extends beyond handover — we're there for the future changes too, whether that's a reconfiguration due to growth or a small repair years later.

Over 20 years in the industry, with a contact list of Ultra-quality subcontractors we are confident will deliver.
Quality
In every area of the business — workmanship, communication and the satisfaction of handing over a job done properly.
Fun
We enjoy what we do, own your project enthusiastically, and hand it over completed with pride.
Health & Safety
We value our people and stay actively involved in keeping ourselves and others safe from our work.

Local builders
Building across Kāpiti and Greater Wellington
We're on the road between Ōtaki and Wellington most weeks. Because we're local, site meetings happen in person, subcontractors are people we've worked with for years, and council inspections don't catch us out.
